2. Capybaras are the largest rodent in the world, being 3 times larger than a beaver.
3. When predators come near, the capybara dives into the water with only its eyes and nostrils above the water like an alligator.
4. Capybaras live in groups of 10-30.
5. A capybara's life span is about 6 years in the wild and about 12 in captivity.
